      The law of attraction simply draws to you whatever you are a match for.  Becoming a match for what you want can be confusing.  

       

      So to keep things simple think about these 5 things.

       

      The law of attraction responds to your...

      • Thoughts
      • Feelings
      • Beliefs 
      • The things you say
      • The things you do.
      Example:  If you want to attract more income but you constantly talk about not having enough money and feel lack in your life, then you are not a match for what you want.

      Hi John, the best way in my opinion is through EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) this is a simple technique that you can learn and use for yourself.  You can check out my YouTube video's if you like to give you an idea https://www.youtube.com/LOAwithWendy/playlists

       

      You can also use positive statements (affirmations) to reprogram your subconscious mind - For example, if you have a belief that you are never going to be successful, you can repeat the affirmation Every day I am becoming more and more successful or I can learn to be more an more successful...

       

      You can also use Hypnosis to reprogram your subconscious mind.

       

      Finally question your beliefs.  Simply ask,  is this belief that I hold serving me well?  Is this belief helping me to achieve the life I want?  

       

      If it's not them state to yourself, the universe... I am now choosing a new belief.

       

      These are just a few ideas for helping to shift negative/limiting beliefs.

      Thanks Wendy. I'll check out the videos.m as for affirmations, the problem I have is that I don't believe them when I'm saying them. How do I get around them. Thanks for your help btw.

      RE:Affirmations.  

       

      Make them believable.  If you're broke, don't say I'm Rich!  Say something like "I'm learning to make better money choices"

       

      Also try this instead.  3 step attraction process.

       

      1. I'm in the process of attracting...
      2. The universe is lining everything up for me so that I can attract..
      3. I love it when...

       

      Also do a google search and check out AFFORMATIONS by Noah St John

      I really like the suggestions. It makes it more believable. I'll check Noah St. John as well. It's nice to have a place like this where I can connect and learn!

      One of my favorite methods for overcoming limiting beliefs is The Work of Byron Katie. It's basically questioning your thoughts and beliefs, and seeing how holding that belief affects you. It's helped me a lot over the years.

      Another good one is the Sedona method.

      Hi Brandon, yes I agree, The work of Byron Katie is wonderful. I haven't had that much experience with the Sedona method but I've heard excellent reports about it.

      Changing your belief system is a step-by-step process and the method that you choose/gravitate towards will be that which is in alignment with your beliefs. For me, I have found that a daily meditation practice has been one of the best methods. Meditation works on many levels:

      1. It quiets the mind.
      2. It helps you to focus - focusing on what you desire is key to manifesting
      3. It raises your vibration - thereby allowing you to attract higher vibratory things/relationships/situations into your life
      4. It helps you to ground - when you "literally" get out of your mind and "into your body" you dissipate much of the stress and undesired thoughts that cause you to manifest that which you do not desire.
      5. It teaches you to relax and allow. Two key components for manifesting your desires.

      There are also other methods that one can use to change their beliefs. I do not have a one-size fits all method. I recommend based on the current beliefs of the person with whom I am helping.

      Hello to all,

      It is wonderful to read ideas from each and everyone and apparently, each method works with different person. Basically, everyone is correct and true with and how they use the LOA. Let us not forget, why we are attracting things we earnestly desire or the intention of attracting it. LOA works better if the intention is more of a selfless level. So it goes back to the reason why you are here? What is your purpose? What is the intention?
