"Your universe is a mirror of self-reflection whose purpose is to give you the experience not only of who you believe yourself to be, but also ultimately the essence of who and what you truly are."   Howard Falco Always be honest. You cannot lie to yourself and you can't continue to live a lie in an attempt to please others. Be true to yourself and speak your truth and express your truth, but speak carefully because what is said cannot be unsaid. Come from the heart of love for yourself and others - let love and joy be your truth, and let your truth bring love and joy. Integrity makes you whole. In order to manifest what you want, you must know what you want. Do not choose by default based on eliminating what you don't want. You wouldn't place an order in a restaurant by stating all that you don't want. Get clear about who you are and what you want for your life. In any moment of experience your resistance to the truth about 'what is' in the present moment is the source of the charged energy within you. Your ego trys to keep any new undesired information from you because if you take on in that moment a new idea about yourself - an old idea about yourself must die. Nevertheless, many of us are unwilling to let go of an idea we have of ourselves even if our denial of a 'new' reality causes us physical or mental pain. "If you are protecting yourself from the truth on any issue in your life, in essence you are choosing to stay in disharmony with reality. This is exactly what keeps your desired reality out of the present moment and in the concept of time called "the future." Time becomes a factor in relation to creating your dreams based on how much you deny or stay ignorant of what conditions need to be in place and exactly where you are in relation to the creation of those conditions.  Time begins to dissolve the more you ask the right questions, allow the answers in, and then take the action that aligns with the answers. And lastly, this all needs to be done without the expectation of a certain outcome. There is nothing "wrong" with intending an outcome but the most powerful creators know better than to expect certainty in a universe where anything is possible. The rest they leave to the great power of faith." (I am, by Howard Falco) Be honest with yourself and true to yourself in all of your activities and actions. Be willing to release to God and the angels anything in your life that isn't working and that does not mirror your highest intentions for yourself. Expect miracles when you decide to be 'true to you.' Love & Light,   Monica   www.awakeningspirit.ca

"One of the things that I learned while I was negotiating was that until I changed myself I could not change others."   Nelson Mandela Ongoing negative thoughts and emotions bring you down and lower your frequency, then attract everything that is on lower frequencies which can spiral downward into depression and despair. Nothing good can come when you feel so bad, because once you are in a state of depression, everything feels bad even if it is good. This is because depression is a state of being, not an emotion, and once you are in that state, you have to alter the frequency of your thoughts and emotions in order to alter your state of experience. Negativity drains energy and life force - you must weed out negative thoughts and emotions diligently, with peace not judgment. You cannot fight negativity with negativity or you will feed it and make it worse, you must simply be patient, kind, and loving and love yourself better. Anger is repulsive. Your emotions are part of your guidance system. If it doesn't feel right, it usually isn't right for you. Don't over-ride or ignore your feelings because they are a powerful way for your intuition to communicate with you. Trust yourself to know what is true for you, and listen to yourself before you listen to others. Happy people do not merely react to life. They consciously choose thoughts and behaviours that create more peace and value for themselves and therefore for others. When we have identified our patterns of reaction we begin to create our destiny by design rather than by default. Investigate your emotions. If you notice an uncomfortable or negative feeling - you'll find that the source of this is in what you are thinking. So, if you are nervous, then ask yourself what you might be afraid of. And, if you are depressed, be a detective and attempt to dis-cover what you are dreading or what you might be feeling hopeless about. Dig deeply for the thoughts that could be fuelling your negative feelings and it is always a good idea to write them down in your journal. Are you feeling positive in this moment? If you are not, then write down in your journal your specific fears, your negative assumptions and judgments that are holding you hostage. Then - consider the positive thoughts and actions that are equally available to you and ask yourself, why not take the positive road instead? If you are considering some changes, why not vow to yourself to try to become more conscious of your behaviours? Are you still engaging in choices that disempower or dishonour you? I suggest you answer this in your journal. If you are engaging in any disempowering choices, remind yourself that you can release these habits (ask your Angels for help) and make a higher choice. This does not require perfection, but rather the intention to increase your awareness. Sandra Anne Taylor, author of  Quantum Success, has a wonderful affirmation for you: "Every day I consciously create my reality by choosing the kind of energy and emotions I want to live with." Remember that your measurement of value, as a light worker/light activator, is in the good that you create and the difference that you are able to make in society or in people's lives. A few years ago I watched a really interesting programme about adventure and possibility. Survival teacher, Bear Grylls, (who climbed Everest at the age of 23) took then President Obama to the edge of a glacier to discuss climate change. During Bear's interview with Obama he asked the president what he was teaching his daughters. Obama said that he was teaching them the two things that he felt were most important which are "to be kind and useful." For lightworkers, making a meaningful contribution to society and helping others to create a better life for themselves is one of our greatest rewards and we often take jobs that are not necessarily high paying (although they may be!) but they allow us the opportunity to be involved in community service and to receive nonfinancial rewards that might be even greater than the financial rewards in other fields. However, do not take this to mean that poverty and spirituality need go hand-in-hand, but rather, that the energy that you put out comes back to you in a variety of ways that are rewards sometimes much greater than money - because when you make a meaningful contribution to your world around you - it allows your own spiritual growth to increase, opens your heart further, and increases your compassion for yourself and others. One of the tips that I can give you - and I learned this the hard way - is to offer your work only to those who value it. My spirit guides confirm this. Part of your spiritual journey is to value your work, time and energy. If you don't value all these things, neither will those who can potentially benefit from your talents and gifts. This serves no one. Do you need some assistance releasing negativity? Most of us do. We tend to 'hold on' to things when most often what we need to do is to 'let go.' There are a myriad of ways to release drama and negativity. You do not need to hold onto that which is draining your life force and blocking your manifestations. Spiritual teachers such as myself help our clients to let go of the negativity that is bringing us down into lower frequencies. You can also work with the Angels to cancel out all effects of fear in all directions of time. Or, you could read one of Doreen Virtue's books specifically on this topic. I went out to California in 2006 and trained with Doreen and became a certified Angel Therapist(R). Her book called Don't Let Anything Dull Your Sparkle is overflowing with ideas and information that can help you to break free of all drama and negativity. Doreen tells us that many years ago now she was approached by three different television stations about appearing with her family in a "Reality Show" of her life. She chose one and when they began filming the producers told her it was "boring" because she and her family were so peaceful. The producers asked her and her family to "fake fights and drama for the cameras." Being a woman of integrity, naturally, Doreen refused. The show was never created. Doreen teaches us that some of us mistake boredom with peace. Especially when we experience peace for the first time in our lives! Negativity comes in many, many forms. It can come in a quick moment of self-judgment or it can come in the form of expectations of catastrophic disaster. Clearly, this is not the energy we desire in our lives. However, we must attempt not to blame ourselves for worrying as this form of reaction only adds negation to negation and worsens all problems. A positive and helpful response is to simply notice whenever your mind is heading in an anxious direction and then gently release any assumptions of fear and doubt (I hand them to the Angels to take to the Light). Open up to the possibility of a more relaxing, beautiful outcome. The choice to let go of negative assumptions is a very important life-changing decision. Transcend the Fear in Your Life Fear is a part of life, and some fear is helpful. You’re afraid to stick your hand into a fire or to jump off a cliff. If you weren’t afraid of anything, you wouldn’t live long. But most fears are crippling and influence your decisions in negative ways. Imagine you’re walking through the woods and get a thorn in your arm. You would likely remove it and go about your life with little thought of that mild injury. But imagine if you didn’t deal with it. Eventually, that thorn would affect many of your decisions: It would become infected and sore. You would be careful not to bump anything. You’d avoid most sports. You would protect yourself anytime someone walked to close. Eventually, you might even develop a special cover to tape over it. Then you must worry about finding clothes that fit over it. You couldn’t swim because the tape might come off. It would affect your sleeping position, and so on. Fears are the same way. A fear of talking to strangers affects the decisions you make in your social life and career. We avoid all types of things to ensure we don’t stir up the negative emotions caused by our fears. The more fears you have, the less freedom you enjoy. Try these techniques to transcend your fears and claim the level of freedom you deserve: 1.Become more aware. There’s a big world out there with a variety of perspectives. Yours might not be the best perspective. You might believe that a fear of public speaking is totally normal and justified. But is it? What is the worst that could happen if you make a mistake? No one is going to stone you. Look at all your fears and make a list of them. Decide which are causing your life the most grief. Which fears do you spend the most time working around? Which are the most limiting? 2.Determine why you’re afraid. What are the possible consequences that cause you to be afraid? 3.Deal with your fears a little at a time. For example, if you’re afraid of public speaking, try giving a speech to your child, nephew, or niece. Then trying giving it to three of them. Build up your tolerance until you can speak to thousands. 4.Use techniques to lower your fear. There are many tools for dealing with fear: The Emotional Freedom Technique is popular. So is the Sedona Method. Hypnosis and meditation are also options. You can also use a psychologist if you’re not making a lot of progress on your own. 5.Use a journal. Writing can often be more helpful than thinking. We take the things we write more seriously than our self-talk. You talk to yourself constantly throughout the day. What will one more thought accomplish? Use a journal to record your thoughts, fears, and your progress. 6.Develop a new understanding of failure. Many of the silly fears we have are related to a fear of failure. Ask yourself what can happen if you fail? Failure can be a great thing if you learn from it and apply it to your life. Imagine a life without any irrational fears. What would you do if you weren’t afraid of failing? You can measure your personal freedom by number of fears you possess. Everyone develops fears as a natural consequence of living. You have a choice. You don’t have to keep your fears. Spend some time each day dealing with your fears and reclaim your life.

"To live for results would be to sentence myself to continuous frustration. My only sure reward is in my actions and not from them."   Hugh Prather   As a light activator and a spiritual warrior, I am always concerned with 'right action'. Right action is always its own reward. Right action is not always self-evident for the ego-personality, so I always ascend into my Higher Self to ascertain right action. I am sure you do too. It almost always requires discipline to do this. Discipline is part of the skill set required to increase the probability that our good intentions translate into the outcomes we seek. The commitment to learning and practice. The word "discipline" derives from the same root as the word "disciple", which means "being open to receive." The fruit of discipline is grace - to which the universe adds its power and creativity to our own capability enabling us to manifest something that at one point felt beyond our reach. We have control over our choices; however, we have no control over the consequences of our choices. Right action does make it more likely that the consequences will be in keeping with our positive intentions. Aligning with the Will of God/Source and the will of our Higher Self, focusing our resources on the choice directly in front of us (the present moment) and setting our trajectory we then 'let go' like an archer (remember the Yoga pose?) having become clear on the target we pull back our bow to the point of stillness (achieved in meditation) and we release the arrow and wait to see what happens as we observe with curiousity and amusement the results that come from our surrender. Before you incarnated you set an agenda and a purpose for this life. You have sacred contracts and karmic agreements to fulfill, and these override your Free Will desires. When the desires of your body, mind, and heart align with your will and spirit, you can attract , accomplish and achieve anything. Set goals that fulfill your body, mind, heart and spirit - create a life that fulfills every facet of your whole self. In my practice, Awakening Spirit, as a Law of Attraction coach I am privileged to witness and assist people working with the Law of Attraction to become aware of how some of us forget that some of our dreams are delivered to us through earth angels (lightworkers). Yes, Angels, faeries, spirit guides, Light Beings are much involved when we ask - but - an important link in the chain is the lightworker, I mostly use the term light activator now, that issues an invitation, delivers a message, facilitates a healing, educates you or performs an action that results in putting you where you need to be at the exact time and place. Divine Timing. Being 'open to receive' necessitates an awareness of this. Because we tend to think and react in habitual ways we may forget that a human being is part of the Divine system that delivers what we manifest in partnership with the Angels. For example, I know a woman, let us call her Dawn, (not her real name) who had been working for some time to manifest a romantic relationship. Dawn was very clear as to the type of man she wished for in her life as a partner. Dawn listed all the qualities of character. She had done all the correct things to manifest this relationship and was beginning to become frustrated because this man she was manifesting had not 'shown up' yet! Simultaneously, Dawn had just moved apartments to a new section of her city and was left with some twinges in her lower back that were bothersome. An old friend she met for tea suggested she try yoga as a way of healing her back. Reluctant to go to a yoga studio as she was not keen to don the Lululemon clothes that Dawn felt were obligatory now-a-days she almost did not go. However, Dawn is very happy that she did, because that evening she met and became instant friends with the receptionist at the studio who introduced Dawn to her father and the rest is history! Dawn and Dad married. The Universe delivered, albeit not in the way that Dawn had imagined. Following our intuition rather than relying solely on past beliefs and behaviours we often dis-cover that in a mysterious and unpredictable way our personal desires have lined up with universal intent. You know this alignment is occurring when, as time goes by, the line between your ego/individual self and your universal/Self becomes almost indistinguishable. We design our lives ourselves. Through seeking true fulfillment. There is nothing that occurs in our 'outer reality' that was not created in our 'inner reality'. What we genuinely believe, as a soul, is what we see around us as outer circumstances. We are powerful beyond measure. As famous spirit guide, Emmanuel, says: "Your life is not your master. It is your child." (Emmanuel's Book) Seek true fulfillment, through 'right action' and watch your dreams come true! Angel Blessings,   Monica

As we are aware from the Law of Attraction, like attracts like energy. So, if we want to win the life we are manifesting - we must feel like a winner. This also helps us to attract other winners. Because, your circle reflects you. (The company you keep is very important) Act like you hold the key to the universe and the secret to manifestation because you do! Have you written the new story of your life? Have you created your new vision board from your story? Dealing with our issues and doing our inner work moves us into a place where we are ready to create a new story and act like a winner instead of a victim. We do not need to stay mired in a time warp but rather we can mine the gold nuggets from our old stories of our pasts and then move forward. When it is time to create our new story we enter the present moment unfettered by the past and savour the unlimited open space that is now available for new thoughts, beliefs and attitudes. Likely, your old story was created and filtered through the lens of your parents, family, physical circumstances and culture. Your definition of success and worth was perhaps more defined by society's values than your own 'inner knowing'. As James Ray says, "your past is not who you are, it's who you were." Before you arrive at the place where you are ready to tell a new story about yourself and you have a new vision of your future self you may arrive at a place of emptiness that some call the void. Allow yourself to just be. Practice just 'being'. Someone once said that we are called human beings not human doings for a reason. It is tempting to grasp for a new place to hang your hat, so to speak. Instead, allow yourself the luxury of living in the moment and experiencing everything with your 'new' eyes before you create your new story. Just nurture yourself and parent yourself the way that you wish you had been parented - with unconditional love. Your Source supports this as you allow yourself to be filled with infinite love and light and begin to know your true divinity. Savour and just be in the moment. Take your time enjoying and exploring before you create your new story. Being without any story, even that of a winner, is lovely in and of itself. This allows you precious time to 'cook up' your future self. What does your best life look like? What does it look like to you - not others - this is your life after all! Let your imagination run wild. Now that you have released your past, anything is possible. The energy that you put out into the universe is the energy that you get back, so, create wisely from your place of discernment and joy. If you are having difficulty creating your new story, examine your own values and ask yourself how you are going to live in alignment with these values? This generates the insight and energy that you need to attract everything that you desire. Get clear about exactly what you wish to create, feel it completely in your body and being and then let it go out to the universe with no restraints as to 'how' things will occur (our egos have a very small outlook) and then be open to receiving and following your divine guidance so that you can take whatever action steps are recommended. You are the source of your money and your abundance. Everything that you need is within. Working with your thoughts, feelings, and your intentions you can become a master at creating whatever you want. However, you do need to be willing to shine - which means acting like a winner! Act as if and dress as if you are the person right now who has everything that they want. Be that person today and every day. Your world is what you choose to create and experience yourself. Shakespeare said that all the world is a stage and he got it right! All the external things are merely the sets, props, costumes, of the play that you are enacting based on the role that you are choosing to play. The problem arises when you forget that you are writing your own play and you are also directing it, casting it, acting it and producing every aspect of it. So, why not write yourself into it as the star, the winner - and not as a secondary character! Love & Light,   Monica   www.awakeningspirit.ca

  • As we are aware from the Law of Attraction, like attracts like energy. So, if we want to win the life we are manifesting - we must feel like a winner. This also helps us to attract other winners. Because, your circle reflects you. (The company you keep is very important) Act like you hold the key to the universe and the secret to manifestation because you do! "You have many ways of measuring your success. In your society, your dollars are a measure of success - but from our perspective, the existence within you of positive emotion is your greatest measure of success."   Abraham Hicks "The appearance of things changes according to the emotions, and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves."   Kahlil Gibran   Love is a powerful attractor and creative force. You must really love what you desire now - love it into creation, because love is a creative act. If you desire money, you must love money (many people fear, blame, reject, judge or hate money, which all repel money). If you want money for what it can bring you, then love the things you really want and desire and call for those directly. If you want love, you must love love itself, do not fear or reject love. Love what you desire with all of your heart, and really feel how real that love is in order to bring your desire into reality. Everything is energy and neutral until you energize it with emotion. The state of wanting signifies lack. It indicates that something is missing or not there. What you focus on is what you create, so wanting just keeps you wanting and feeling empty, creating the perpetual hunger of 'never enough' and needing more, which leads to addiction. Desire comes from the heart and directs you to what you would like to create and experience. Instead of wanting, enact your power of choice and choose what you desire to attract. Love what you desire to attract. What do you truly desire? Admit this to yourself. Is there anything that you need to release in order to reach your dreams? Answer this on a stand alone piece of paper. If you do not know what you need to release then ask Archangel Michael like I do. I was taught this by Doreen Virtue. At the top of your piece of paper write to Archangel Michael (or to your Higher Self) "what do I need to release to be fully on my path and purpose?" Then just start writing and if no words come through you then put down on the paper whatever pictures or symbols come through you. (Do not think! There is no thinking involved. You are just taking dictation from Archangel Michael or your Higher Self) Whatever comes is perfect at this time. You may fill a page or more. When you finish writing or drawing then take the page/s and ceremoniously destroy them by either burning them, immersing them in water, or burying them while simultaneously declaring, "I now fully release anything that is not for my highest good." I can tell you that I have done this more than a few times over the last 12 years. When you finish this ceremony, then sit again and after taking some time to relax, write in your journal what steps you can take to make your dreams come true. (If you don't know what steps to take, ask Archangel Michael or your Higher Self) Baby steps work! If you are releasing old beliefs, choosing even one new belief is a great beginning. How are you doing with your gratitude practice? Kick it up a notch today. Whatever feels right. If you cannot think of how then go on a walk in Nature saying the words thank you as each foot touches the ground for at least the first 90 seconds of your walk. I continue much longer. Our gratitude practice, done consistently, raises our vibration and also helps us to become much more aware and alert. The more aware and alert we are, the more grateful we become and the more easily we attract our dreams. Successful manifesters are very grateful for everything they already have in their lives and therefore they love more things into existence; thereby, attracting even more to be grateful for! Our spirit guides tell us that every situation in our lives is teaching us how to love. We cannot leave something until we love it. We are tied to things we don't like. If we hate something we will be drawn to it over and over again (even if the person or form changes) until we love it. Once we love it, we are free from it. Every uncomfortable situation is teaching us the valuable lessons that we need to learn. If we do not learn these lessons in the job, relationships, situations, then we will create similar circumstances in the next job or relationship until we do learn and master that lesson. Then, we do not need to create it again. No experience is for nothing. Our Higher Self knows this to be true. It may be that we are not conscious of what an experience is for; however, one way or another, every experience broadens our perspective. From the perspective of Abraham Hicks - we are in a process of eternal growth: "What we want you to understand is that you never get it completed. You are not like a table that is imagined, then created, and then is finished. You are continually in the state of becoming. You are in the process of growth, eternally. But you are always that which you are in this moment." (The Law of Attraction) Clarity and emotion (positive or negative) speeds up the manifestation process. Clarity brings the speed. As you get more clear about what you want (and are no longer contradicting it with opposing thoughts) you will enable the Laws of the Universe to do their work and Abraham says that "you will notice that you will not need to offer so much action to compensate for your inappropriate thoughts." As you continue to discipline yourself and to focus and study (with joy) to become an ascended master (yes - you!) and employ your deliberate intent and thought to harness the power of love - you will dis-cover that you are able to accomplish more in less (earthly) time. The power of love coupled with a conscious employment of the Law of Attraction will help you to create the life of which you dream. Love & Light,   Monica   www.awakeningspirit.ca

I know this title is loaded. I’m actually suggesting that if you read these books, your life will change, which is a pretty bold statement.   But I’m confident they will. Why? Because they changed my life. In case you have no idea who I am, my name is Dave and I’m the owner of this site, which is a free online spiritual social network.   You see I’ve been on a serious spiritual journey for years now and I’ve read an incredible amount of books on the topic, and while I believe that you can take something away from every book, some are so profound and offer such a shocking perspective on life and who we really are, that you can literally finish that book a different person than when you started.   And if you read a combination of all these books, the impact will be even greater because you’re gathering important input from each of them and combining them to come up with your own healthy model of the world.   Bonus: Click Here for a PDF Version of this blog post! Plus new members receive a free copy of our eBook: 9 Truths That Will Turn Your World Upside Down    Anyways, enough of me rambling on, let’s get to the 8 spiritual books that will change your life:   Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1     Author: Neale Donald Walsch   Published: 1996   The first book in a series of three, this incredible conversation between Neale and God will provide you with a new perspective on how life really works.   Touching on such subjects as Law of Attraction, who you really are, and your purpose, this book is like the Matrix of books.   Once you take the red pill you can never go back, which in this case is preferable because you begin to understand that the World is much friendlier and you are much more powerful than you ever imagined!    2. Ask and It Is Given   Authors: Esther and Jerry Hicks   Published: 2010   Based on the teachings of Abraham, a collection of non-physical entities explaining how life really works through Esther Hicks, this book will open your eyes to the universal laws governing our world and techniques that you can employ to start creating the life of your dreams.   Regardless, if you believe the basic premise of Abraham or not, the impact of this book really comes down to how much the concepts identified resonate with you.   And based on my experience with Abraham teachings and hundreds of thousands of others, it resonates quite strongly and with an open-mind will shift your view of the world.   Though there are several incredible books written by Esther and Jerry, I believe this one will have the greatest impact.    3. The Power of Intention   Author: Dr. Wayne Dyer   Published: 2005   I knew I was reading something magnificent when early on in the book, I read the following quote:   “A tiny acorn with no apparent power to think or make plans for its future contains intention from the invisible field. If you cut the acorn open, you won’t see a giant oak tree, but you know it’s there.”   - The Power of Intention   The late Wayne Dyer published, more than 40 books (21 of them bestsellers) and this one, in my opinion is the best one.   It also departures from Wayne’s earlier works because he focuses on co-creating the life of your dreams by working with the energies of intention and the universe, as opposed to working hard on your own to succeed.   This book has so many insights, you’ll want to read it twice and then probably want to read his other books. That’s what happened to me.   This book is also full of practical advice, helping you understand what the faces of intentions look like, obstacles to connecting with these energies and how to apply it in certain situations in your life.   Definitely worth a read!   Bonus: Click Here for a PDF Version of this blog post! Plus new members receive a free copy of our eBook: 9 Truths That Will Turn Your World Upside Down     4. The Power of Now   Author: Eckhart Tolle   Published: 1999   Without actually using the term, Eckhart identifies the power of mindfulness like no one else.   This book is both esoteric and practical at the same time and when you actually take the time to understand what he’s saying you begin to sense the importance of this very theoretically simple concept.   In the book Tolle draws on both the teachings of Jesus and Buddha, but not at all from a religious perspective. He takes their words and interprets them from a spiritual perspective.   While it can be complex at times, paying attention to the implications of living in the moment will help you take a look at yourself and understand where you may be tripping yourself up in terms of living the life of your dreams.   This is definitely an incredible book that I believe will stand the test of time.    5. Life on Earth: Understanding Who We Are, How We Got Here, and What May Lie Ahead   Author: Mike Dooley   Published: 2016   Relatively new and not as well-known as the other books on this list, this one is similar to Conversations with God but almost seems to be written as a complementary guide to Conversations.   This book is really a collection of questions and answers gathered throughout Mike’s life.   The strange part is it was him doing both the asking and answering.   Kind of in the spirit of Abraham Hicks, Mike seems to have tapped into his higher self for the answers and in the same spirit of Abraham, it’s not a question whether you believe it or not, but rather how well the answers resonate with you.   And let me tell you, they resonated with me. He also touches on subjects such as Law of Attraction, but also focuses on concepts such as suffering and “accidents” and also provides a bunch of practical techniques you can use to create your ideal life.   Definitely a new book that I believe will gain popularity as time goes on.   6. The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself   Author: Michael Singer   Published 2007   This book blew me away! Plain and simple.   Written by Michael Singer, a man who has lived an extraordinary life, his ability to help you discover who-you-really-are and how to connect with that power within is amazing. And with such simplicity.   He also takes complicated subjects and breaks them down into simple, easy to understand concepts that anyone can apply.   The funny thing is I thought I had a strong grasp of spiritual concepts before I touched this book and then realized that I didn’t and that this book elevated my spiritual experience to deeper level.   If there is one book on this list, that will have a large impact, quickly, this is it.   7. Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender     Author: David R. Hawkins   Published: 2013   Closer to the beginning of my spiritual journey, I glossed over the concept of letting go/surrendering/releasing, probably because I had to deal with a whole bunch of other issues first, but as my journey continued, I began to see the importance of letting go.   What’s more interesting is that books I previously mentioned discussed the concept but it never resonated with me.   You can’t miss the concept of letting go with this book, because that’s the whole point of this book. Moreover, through this book you begin to understand the importance and power of letting something go.   It is in fact so powerful, that this mere act alone can change your life.   And while on the surface it may seem like a simple thing to do, be warned that the mere act of letting go will bring up a whole host of uncomfortable issues, but trust me when I say you’ll be a different person on the other side.   8. The Brain That Changes Itself   Author: Norman Doidge Published: 2007   Okay, so I have to confess something. This isn’t a spiritual book. In fact it’s based on science, but I believe the concept behind it is so important and will have such reaching implications on how you view life, I couldn’t leave it out.   If you’re wondering what it’s about, the title says it all.   Science recently confirmed that our brains are malleable. Termed neuroplasticity, our brains can literally re-wire itself with some practice, no matter how old you are.   And the implications are extremely exciting, because it confirms that you’re never too old to change, your mind or your life. So step away from the spiritual books for a little and read this one. You won’t be sorry.   So there you have it. 8 books that will change your life.   Of course there are others. Hundreds of others that will impact your life and I’m quite sure that as I continue down my journey more will be added to me list, but in the meantime, these 8 books will significantly move you down your path.     Bonus: Click Here for a PDF Version of this blog post! I know this title is loaded. I’m actually suggesting that if you read these books, your life will change, which is a pretty bold statement.   But I’m confident they will. Why? A lot of people have heard about the Law of Attraction, mostly through the movie The Secret, but few truly understand it. I’m writing this post to help you understand law of attraction. In its simplest form, thoughts become things. This is a universal law (like gravity), meaning that it applies to everyone. Your dominant thoughts about any particular subject has to become reality. There is no external or outside force that can change or influence this law. Though an external force can influence your thoughts, if you allow it. Your thoughts impact how you feel and how you feel is literally a reflection of your vibrations. Scientifically speaking, nothing is solid in our world. Break anything down into its smallest components and you’ll see energy moving at various frequencies. That’s what’s meant by vibration. You attract people and things in your life based on your vibrations, or in other words, based on how you feel. And each feeling vibrates at a different frequency. So if you’re angry, you’ll attract more things to be angry about. If you’re happy, you’ll attract more things to be happy about and so on. If you’re having a hard time believing this, think back on your life (or someone else’s) and you’ll quickly see it to be true. Now the biggest criticism of The Secret (warranted or not) is that it only focused on the thought aspect of the law of attraction and not the action part. Criticisms aside, action is necessary when it comes to law of attraction. But not all actions taken are equal. Trying to do something in a frustrated state is not the same as trying to do something in a calm positive state. And that’s the point. How you feel plays a huge role in the actions you take. And how you feel is a direct result of what you think. When you think loving thoughts, or thoughts of gratitude, or abundant thoughts, the same feelings and actions follow, leading to an outcome commensurate with those thoughts. Further, you perceive the world through those lenses (including other people), resulting in a process of actions and reactions.   Of course, there is no fooling the Law of Attraction (just like there’s no fooling the law of gravity). You cannot pretend to feel good when you really don’t. Your vibrations don’t ever lie. So there you have it. Of course, law of attraction can (and does) go into much more detail, including how to use it in your favor, but that will be saved for future posts. If you feel you have anything to add, or have any questions, please leave a comment and extend the conversation beyond this post.

You’re familiar with your conscious mind. You use it to choose a channel on the TV or to decide what you’re going to have for dinner. But there’s another aspect to your mind, the subconscious. Your subconscious is most active during sleep and when you’re mildly distracted. Consider how many brilliant ideas you’ve had while showering, driving, mowing the grass, or taking a walk. When you’re alone and relaxed, but mildly occupied, your subconscious can shine. Your conscious mind is occupied enough for your subconscious to speak to you. During most of the day, your conscious mind is making too much noise. Your subconscious is active day and night. Few people take advantage of this powerful resource. Imagine having such a powerful ally working for you 24/7. You’d be unstoppable. Your subconscious is a bit like a savant. It’s brilliant in some ways, but not too bright in others. Think of it as a computer with a vast store of information. It wants to help you, but it needs simple instructions. So how can you take advantage of this powerful resource? Use this process to put your subconscious to work for you: 1. Make a request of your subconscious mind. While lying in bed at night, tell your subconscious what you want. Write it down. There’s something more concrete when you take pen to paper. It also engages your brain at a higher level. For example: “I want to find three creative, effective, and inexpensive ways to market my business.” Read the request aloud five times. 1. Write your request five times and then turn off the light. 2. Imagine yourself being successful. In our example, how will you feel when you find and implement these three creative ideas? How will your life and finances change? 3. Repeat steps one and two in the morning. It will only take three minutes. You can do it. Of course, you won’t be turning off the light when you’re finished. It’s time to start your day! 4. Pay attention. You’ll find your subconscious feeding you solutions over the next few days. It’s important to pay attention to them. Write them down. Thank your subconscious for the information. 5. Act on the information. This is the biggest sticking point for most people. We love to gather information, but fail to act. Use the ideas that are presented by your subconscious. If you fail to act on them, you’ll eventually stop receiving them. No one likes to be ignored, including your subconscious! Even the smallest action can have a big impact. Avoid being like everyone else that ignores their great ideas. 6. Be patient. While your subconscious can present you with advice very quickly, implementing habit changes can take weeks. For example, if you want your subconscious to assist you in changing your diet and exercise habits, you might not see any progress for a few weeks. Be patient. The subconscious is a powerful tool that few use to their advantage. It’s been suggested that your subconscious can consider billions of possibilities during a night of sleep. The information your subconscious provides is very high quality. It’s the best your brain has to offer from billions of options. Why aren’t you using it? Start small so you can experience a few easy successes. The confidence you’ll gain will be beneficial when making requests that require more time to fulfill. Your subconscious is always busy, so ensure it’s busy working on the things you desire!

My choices today prepare me for tomorrow's goals. Each day is a chance to make my life worth living. It is a tragedy to waste precious moments. I embrace every opportunity to achieve something great. I choose to actively work towards my goals regardless of the obstacles. Instead of crumbling under boulders of doubt, I choose to climb atop them and be victorious. Time is too precious to cower in fear of the unknown. I set a mission for myself each day. Having the foresight to attack goals in small parts is beneficial to my success. Although there are temptations that sometimes sidetrack me, I quickly resume my focus. I remind myself of what I am aiming at. That reminder easily puts me back on track towards hitting a target. My daily personal and professional goals support my life goals. My focus today is to become someone who knows how to handle success. Achieving this means hitting smaller daily targets successfully. Today, I spare very little time on idle exploits because I am on a road to success. Downtime is beneficial for renewal of purpose but I commit to resuming my journey. My choices today are an indication of what I am setting myself up to achieve tomorrow. Self-Reflection Questions: 1. How do I go about determining which choices are the right ones for me? 2. How do I know when I have swayed from the path to success? 3. What are some of the sacrifices I make while in pursuit of my goals?

Do a search for Abraham Hicks in YouTube and you'll find over 1M hits. Now not all of them are Abraham talks, but thousands of them are.   As a result, it's hard to wade through all the videos and find the gems that will appeal to you. And that's why I put together this list of (definitely not exhaustive) videos, which shift your vibration, make you see things in a new light, inspire you and more.    So happy viewing and please leave a comment at the bottom if you have any Abraham videos you'd like to add.     Offer: Click here if you're interested in a 2 hour Abraham Hicks audio on The Art of Allowing   Video 1:   Abraham Hicks - Things you must do everyday     Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 8:37 and in it Abraham focuses on 4 things you must do every day to align with who-you-really-are. Consider this video kind of like a list of habits that someone who wants to tap into the Law of Attraction needs to do.   These “must do’s” are simple in practice, but will take some time. According to Abraham though, taking the time do align with your source is the most important pre-condition to achieving all of your life’s desires.   Video 2:   Abraham Hicks: How easy it's to get a lot of money, just apply the simple rule   Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 11:11 and the topic focuses on how to get the “big” money in your life. “Big” is in quotes because Abraham highlights the issue with classifying money as “big” or “not big”. The issue being that the very classification of “big” implicitly equates to something that is harder to attain.   When you consider something harder to attain, then you’re adding resistance to the coming of that desire. Abraham then proceeds to offer a formula to remedy these thoughts and help you get in the right vibrational state to manifest whatever it is you desire.   Video 3:   Abraham Hicks - The easiest way to start positive momentum     Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 14:28 and focuses on the easiest way to start down the path of positive momentum, even when nothing seems to be going right in your life. Abraham’s advice is to go general and what that means is explained in the video, including a detailed rampage of general positive momentum. And these examples can be applied by everyone.    Abraham also highlights that positive momentum is just that; momentum that you can get swept up in for any subject you can imagine. And that’s because law of attraction also attracts like thoughts to you. So if you’re focusing on something that makes you feel good, for example, then more feel good thoughts will come to you. And when you’re in this mode the amount of resistance you feel goes down significantly.   Further, once this positive momentum becomes a habit, then you will attract others in the same vibrational field as you.     Video 4: Abraham Hicks ~ Let go and Dream Big   Here's the YouTube Channel.   In this video, Abraham identifies a common issue that most people have when it comes to their desires, and that’s namely the issue that our desires have yet to manifest in our physical reality.   And because we place our feeling good on the condition of manifesting that desire, we choose not to pay attention to our desires because we find it painful to think about, because it’s not yet here.   In other words, we hold ourselves in resistance to the allowing of our own manifestations by ignoring our desires.   But this doesn’t have to be the case. We can decide to feel good regardless of whether we have achieved our desire or not. And that’s because we’ll never run out of our desires.   We’ll never stop wanting more, so placing your happiness on the achievement of our desires will result in us never feeling good.   An alternative is to feel good without the manifestation. In fact you can feel good about the desire by focusing your attention on how good it will feel once you have it. You just have to activate that positive vibration within you.     Offer: Click here if you're interested in a 2 hour Abraham Hicks audio on The Art of Allowing   Video 5:    Abraham-Hicks/ Change vibration instantly     Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 14:37 and focuses on techniques you can use to deactivate a limiting belief (which is really a very active vibration) and eventually replace it with more aligned beliefs.   Some suggestions include not talking about your beliefs (or at least talking about it less than before) and if you find yourself in a conversation with someone who brings that belief up, knowing how to respond to lessen the active part of it.   Abraham also identifies how to treat yourself when you do find yourself thinking or talking about that limited belief, specifically focusing on not judging yourself for thinking it in the first place.     The whole objective is to bring some awareness into how you feel, what to say and how to behave, with the intention of shifting your focus from unwanted things to wanted things.   Abraham then takes the concept to the next level, highlighting what will naturally happen to you when you deactivate your limiting beliefs. What’s said in this part of the talk is profound and helps you understand deliberate creation in a new way.   Video 6:   Abraham Hicks: Heal yourself, start regenerating your body cells, become young and strong again     Here's the YouTube Channel.    This video is 10:40 and focuses on how to heal your physical body. Abraham goes into some detail about the cells in our body and how they are regenerated and also what the cells represent in terms of our connections with source.   When left to their own devices, our cells know how to automatically fix any imbalances in our body and bring our body’s back to perfect health.   What affects our cells though is the mind and what we think and how we feel. In other words we are the gatekeepers of how our body feels by either allowing our natural well being to flow or not.   Finally, Abraham offers advice about how to allow when you’re not feeling well.   Video 7:   Abraham-Hicks~ How to be unconditionally HAPPY!     Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 15:27 and focuses on being happy no matter what's going on in your life.   This was touched upon in another video, but this one really gets at the heart of it. Essentially, we are all looking for the condition of the manifestation to occur before allowing ourselves to feel good.   The issue is the desires that precede the manifestations are loaded with our past beliefs and conditionings and therefore automatically introduce resistance into the equation.   To explain this in some more detail, a desire is born out of contrast. Meaning an unwanted experience causes us to desire something we don’t have in our lives (usually the opposite of the unwanted experience). So if you can’t pay your next bill for example, then the desire for more money comes about.   However, the wanting of money, to continue the example, is loaded with the bad feelings that comes from not paying the bill and keeps you focused on the fact that you don’t have the money, making you feel worse.   And now you’ve created the condition of having money before feeling good. “My bad feeling associated with not paying the bill will go away once I have the money.”   Unfortunately, you’re stuck in the vibration of “not having enough money” meaning you’ll continue to attract the like vibration of “not having enough money”.   Instead you need to do the opposite. You need to feel good first and then the manifestation will come. You become happy by gaining momentum and aligning with who-you-really are. And then the ideas start to flow, the inspirations start coming and the coincidences start to show up.   The key takeaway is to feel good no matter what.     Offer: Click here if you're interested in a 2 hour Abraham Hicks audio on The Art of Allowing   Video 8:   Abraham-Hicks | Signs MANIFESTATION is NEAR!     Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 14:25 and at the beginning focuses on when to use certain tools such as meditation and visualization during the manifestation process.   More specifically, meditation is to be used to kind of reset your vibrational patterns allowing for more positive vibrations to flow through your experience, whereas visualization is better when you’re in a positive state and the actual process of visualization adds to the already good feeling.   Abraham then expands on the concept by highlighting signs that manifestation is near. The first thing you need to recognize and accept is that the manifestation has already occurred at a vibrational level.   Then ideas start to flow. You’re becoming clearer about the next steps to take. You start feeling good about that desire, even though it hasn’t shown up in your physical reality. You also have positive expectation about the manifestation.   This though can only work as long as you’re not offering resistance to it. Meaning not being discouraged by the absence of it or upset or anxious. In other words, like Abraham’s message in the other videos, you have to unconditionally feel good first.   Abraham also reinforces that you don’t need to try so hard to get the manifestation. Allow it to come into your experience. Allow the ideas and thoughts to come to you instead of trying to figure it out.   Video 9:  Abraham Hicks - Are There Spiritual Forces With Us   Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 12:30 and the first 7 minutes focuses on a topic completely unrelated from the title of the video.   The topic focuses on how to feel about the contrast. For those unfamiliar with the teachings of Abraham, contrast is the first step in the formation of a desire.   When you experience something you don’t want, a desire associated with what you do want is born. That experience is called contrast.   Oftentimes we feel bad when we experience contrast and the reason is because we condemn ourselves for feeling bad.   Abraham clarifies that contrast is a necessary step of the manifestation process that will always be there, whether you want it to or not. It’s the genesis of expansion and no matter how hard you try, it will always be there.   Therefore, it makes more sense to recognize it as a necessary step in the process and more importantly the start of a delicious new manifestation. The main message, therefore is when you experience contrast in the future, make sure to go easy on yourself and recognize it for the value contained within it.   The second part of the video answers the question asked in the title. The short answer is yes, in fact we ourselves are spiritual forces, or in other words we’re much more than our physical selves. We are non-physical beings in a physical body.   Video 10: Abraham Hicks ~ Creating Self Worth     Here's the YouTube Channel.   This video is 14:43 and focuses specifically on how to create self-worth.   The video begins by Abraham defining fear, which is explained as having a desire while at the same time holding a belief that contradicts the desire. She likens it to sticking a pencil in a well-functioning fan.   She then expands this concept to all negative emotions including lack of self-worth.   Whenever your thoughts are negative, they are in contradiction to who-you-really-are, which is an extension of source energy (or God, or pure positive energy or whatever you call it). And that’s why you feel bad. Because you are in contradiction of your true essence.   The irony, based on this understanding, is that you don’t have to find self-worth, or happiness, or joy, or loving feelings or anything. You already are all of those things. You simply have to remove the negative thoughts and self-worth, love, happiness and joy will naturally arise within you.   To better understand this, Abraham uses the example of holding a cork under water. You holding the cork under water is equivalent to your negative thoughts and you letting go of the cork and letting it naturally rise to the surface is you letting go of your negative thoughts.   Now Abraham stresses that negative feelings are not a bad thing. It’s an important indication of your disconnection with who-you-really-are. In other words you have a guidance system (your emotions) that helps you understand how close or far away you are from the real you.     Offer: Click here if you're interested in a 2 hour Abraham Hicks audio on The Art of Allowing   So there you have it. 10 videos that will you see the world in a new way and understand why you do the thins you do and how to feel good no matter what.
